In the Capulet house Lady Capulet calls to the Nurse, needing help to find her daughter. Juliet enters, and Lady Capulet dismisses the Nurse so that she might speak with her daughter alone. She immediately changes her mind, however, and asks the Nurse to join the conversation.

Lady Capulet asks Juliet what she thinks about getting married. Juliet replies that she has not given it any thought.

Lastly  A servingman enters to announce the beginning of the feast.

On another street of Verona, Capulet walks with Paris, a noble kinsman of the Prince. The two discuss Paris’s desire to marry Capulet’s daughter, Juliet. Capulet is overjoyed, but also states that Julie not yet fourteen is too young to get married. He asks Paris to wait two years.

still arguing about whether Romeo will be able to forget his love. Peter asks Romeo to read the list to him; Rosaline’s name is one of those on the list. Before departing, Peter invites Romeo and Benvolio to the party.

The scene opens on the streets of Verona. Benvolio is drawn into the Fray by Tybalt,

The fight rapidly escalates as more citizens become involved and soon the heads of both households appear on the scene. At last, Prince Escalus arrives and stops the riot, forbidding any further outbreaks.

• Sampson gives the Montagues the Elizabethan finger—he bites his thumb at them.                                                  Benvolio learns from Romeo that he is in love with Rosaline.                                                                                       Benvolio advises Romeo to find someone else to love. Romeo walks off, saying that he can’t forget Rosaline. Benvolio vows to help him forget her.
• Benvolio blames Tybalt on starting the fight.                                                                                                                Romeo was sad that he was rejected by Roaline
• Romeo says he will never love another women.                                                                                                          But then Benvolio promises he will make it happen.
