I am going to talk about the the Nigerian Civil War which mum experienced in 1960.The war started in 1960 and ended in 1970.During, the war a so many things happened such as bombings all around the city and in markets.Due to all this schools were no longer opening because  children and adults were afraid for their lives.So many people hid in the bushes for safety.Children and adults were dieing of hunger because there was no food and no one could leave the house otherwise they could get killed.This war was between the Nigerian government and the Biafrans.These both countries were using children as soldiers to help in the war

People were no longer sleepy properly because they were scared.Whenever people saw a planes up in the sky  they became  terrified because their immediate thought  was that something or someone was being targeted with a bomb.This all happened because the President at the time wanted the Biafrans to become their own country.
